Learning Platform
Overview
At Walmart, I led content strategy and learning experience design for Marketplace Learn, Walmart Marketplace’s AI-powered education platform for sellers. My work focused on scaling self-service learning experiences that helped sellers navigate onboarding, policies, advertising tools, fulfillment services, and platform growth more efficiently.
I managed a large ecosystem of educational content and partnered cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, and operations teams to improve how sellers discovered, understood, and acted on complex marketplace information.
The Problem
Marketplace sellers relied on a rapidly growing knowledge ecosystem containing policies, onboarding documentation, promotional programs, fulfillment guidance, and advertising education. As the platform scaled, maintaining clarity, consistency, and discoverability across thousands of learning resources became increasingly complex.
Content experiences also needed to support evolving seller workflows while remaining scalable for localization, governance, AI-assisted recommendations, and continuous policy updates.

Content Design Approach
My work focused on making complex marketplace systems easier for sellers to understand and navigate through clearer learning structures, scalable content operations, and AI-enhanced discovery experiences.
Key initiatives included:
Standardizing educational content patterns across the platform
Improving readability and scanability of policy and onboarding documentation
Designing scalable governance systems for large-volume content management
Refining AI-powered recommendation systems and assistant training data
Partnering with engineering and product teams on workflow and UI enhancements
Using behavioral insights and performance data to identify learning gaps and optimize engagement
Before
After
Before & After
Before
Educational content and seller guidance were often difficult to scale consistently across rapidly changing marketplace tools, promotions, and operational policies. Information architecture and learning pathways required ongoing refinement to improve discoverability and reduce seller confusion.
After
The Marketplace Learn experience evolved into a more scalable and structured learning ecosystem with clearer content hierarchy, improved educational consistency, stronger self-service support patterns, and AI-enhanced content discovery designed to support seller growth at scale.
Outcome
The platform supported more effective seller self-service experiences through scalable content systems, improved learning accessibility, and AI-powered knowledge delivery. My work helped create a more maintainable, user-centered educational ecosystem that supports Walmart Marketplace’s growing seller community and evolving operational needs.
